As far as the Burrow point, it was clear as day that Cincy had them one right out the gate. The wins weren't there, but you could tell what the deal was with him. Having Chase, Higgins, Boyd, Mixon, etc. absolutely helps, but Burrow led that team to the doorstep of the Lombardi with quite literally no OL. We've seen Burrow win games without Chase/Higgins, etc.

Purdy gets flack because Kyle Shanahan has proven that most any QB in his system with a certain set of traits can look worth a damn and secondly, the small sample size we saw of Purdy without his full complement of weapons/pieces did not do him any favors as far as him being that guy.

As far as what was learned:

- Baker Mayfield has quietly shown that perhaps he can hold it down in Tampa Bay for the next 4-6 years.
- The Browns are dangerous, but if Buffalo continues to give a damn about running the ball, they will be the last team folks want to see in the playoffs
- The Falcons are being wasted. To have the talent they have all on rookie contracts for it to look like this is saddening. Arthur Smith might have to go.
- I realize that if Detroit wins 12 games or so, Dan Campbell might be hard-pressed to lose Coach of the Year (and he'd be deserving), but Demeco Ryans is my pick for NFL Coach of the Year.
Stop. He faced the worse defensive coordinator in the league. Saints will have him looking like a journeyman QB again.

Following teams need new coaches..

Entire NFC SOUTH, Seen enough of Arizona coach to know he’s just a coordinator, Chicago, Washington no doubt, Giants, Chargers/Raiders we already know, even though pearce should keep the raiders job but they will want another big name cac, new england and Robert Saleh is on the hot seat but probably get another year

You mean the same team he went for 246 yards and 3 TD on nearly 80 percent completion against in week 4?

He's played well this year. He was having a nice 2023 before he got ahold of Green Bay.

Buffalo looks legit but they aren't gonna play shytty run defenses every week. Josh Allen is going to have to make plays and I don't really believe he can do that without reckless throws and turnovers.

I maintain the "fraud" word is overused....but Philly do not look like contenders. Bad defense, struggling QB, and their head coach (or GM?) probably killed the locker room by bringing Patricia in. Losing like that to Drew fukking Lock is unacceptable. For all that talk about drafting positional value, those guys look soft on the d-line. Cox and the vets are legit but aging. Watching Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter get pushed around every week has to be concerning.

Cowboys...I hate them dudes but they're still a good team. EVERY good team has taken a puzzling L this year.

You seem to watch enough football to know it has nothing to do with his draft placement. I don’t understand inserting some bad faith argument.

The hesitation of Purdy’s MVP campaign is centered around his elite teammates. “Value” has to mean something in MVP. Purdy doesn’t have much on his plate compared to other QBs like Lamar and Allen.
49’ers can make a deep playoff run without Purdy.
Baltimore and Buffalo are not playoff teams with Lamar and Allen.
Lamar or Allen in the 49’ers offense as it’s currently constructed(ignoring contract) would be scary for the league
My brother the Kurt Warner comparison was to show how things changed. if Kurt Warner dropped out of the sky today he'd be Brock Purdy and no one spoke liek this about Kurt Warner despite that man having like 4 HOF's on offense on his team :heh:

I'm not sure your age, but those Rams team's had MORE talent on offense than this San Fran team. They were better at every position and not soul questioned Warner's MVP

1. Ravens probably hold on to the 1 seed.. they’ll lose to the 49ers, but beat miami and Pittsburgh…

2. Kansas City probably creep up to the 2nd seed and Miami 3rd.. that lose to the titans fukked up Miami, because they got Dallas and Baltimore next

3. Bradberry and the rest of the eagles secondary is ass… Dallas will beat that ass in Philly in the playoffs
shyt. If KC don't bench Tony. They will be looking at the 5 or 6 seed :skip:
