The coach didn't seem like he believed in him. That doesn't go away. It just becomes a Vince and Fisher situation all over again.
I could see this. I'm not familiar enough with their situation to really speak on it. I'd like to think with new information and development people in leadership can adjust their expectations accordingly and adjust their thinking and plans, but you have a perfect example of bonehead coaching that stubbornly ignores the evidence in front of them to the detriment of their own success. I'll keep an eye on how it plays out.

why is everyone saying the Vikings are frauds

I haven't gotten a chance to watch any of their games but their record is good, so what's the reason

I'm open to all answers

oh and I'm not a Vikings fan so I'm not asking because I'm biased

1. Darnold been trash a few games
2. The defense has been exposes in a couple of games, so ppl may not believe in the defenses.
3. Mainly that they have to rely on Darnold to not fukk up.

Pretty simple explanation, it's because Sam Darnold is their QB and they are waiting for him to turn back into the old Sam Darnold.

Because the 2022 Vikings team that kept pulling out miracle comebacks is clouding people's minds

Before yesterday the last decisive win was in September against the Texans. They hadn't really buried anybody in a couple months

Team is 11-2 with a +99 point differential but because they're 2nd in their division everyone overlooks them

There was also this play during the commanders game.

This is just weird. He's seeing 1 on 1's with AJ and Smitty and not even trying to get it to them. He's always had a bad habit of bailing from clean pockets but this seems like he's trying too hard to avoid turnovers so he's being ultra conservative.

The Washington play he just didn't get his feet set. His issues aren't mechanical.

The WR's calling him out publicly is a good thing because he needs to fix this ASAP.

Yeah for some QBs when you got WRs of that caliber a one-on-one in general is reason enough to force it to them. Meanwhile he ain't throwing it to them when they're wide open lol. I definitely wonder if they're trying to emulate what the Chiefs are doing with letting the run game and defense win while minimizing turnovers.

It's the "if I don't turn it over and just rely on the running game we'll win mentality."

He just has let it fly again.

He was always taking shots when AJ was single or even forcing it into double coverage. The turnover problem last year got him thinking he can't make a mistake.

As an eagles fan - to start the season people were freaking out at him (rightfully so) about the turnovers. He got a little more conservative to clean it up. I think there needs to be a middle ground with aggressiveness but people talking about trading him or getting rid of him are ridiculous considering he’s 45-19 in his career, and made it further than almost everyone they say is better than him.

Hurts is mid and has always been that outside of 2022. It's a dozen QBs that would make the Eagles better than what they are now.

Well 90% of them aren't on the market nor have they gone to a Super Bowl.

Every QB not named Mahomes has weaknesses. Eagles just need to fix his. It's not like he can't do it. He just needs to stop overthinking it and play free.
