Or maybe the backup was a scrub

When league say anyone, they mean any one of the 15 or so best QBs in the league
This has never been the argument but claim whatever you want to claim. Shift those goalposts :mjlol:

Folks said the same shyt about Brissett vs Tua when he was here. Same result when we were running that dumb ass shytty offense under Flores, offense which already sucked, sucked even worse without Tua.

That didn't stop people in the media last year hyping him up as the heir apparent to Tua and his replacement and saying that he could run the same offense that's taking place now.

I'm not talking about other starters as we obviously know that isn't the case. I'm strictly speaking to Teddy and the narrative last year.
That’s ok. We are talking about starters. A lot of starting QBs with A GOAT level wr an elite 2 and a dominant rushing attack could light up the scoreboard and get owned by actual good teams like Tua

Eh this works both ways. The offense doesn't put up the numbers without Brock Purdy orchestrating. Jimmy Garrapolo had the same players and while he had a career year prior to getting hurt the offense wasn't moving the ball at this level. Both things can be true. We have amazing offensive weapons and Brock Purdy is balling the fukk out. Its not an either or. It's symbiotic.
CMC barely played with Jimmy. I think Brock is better but folk forget CMC creates a whole new wrinkle in this offende and makes it uncoverable. Shanny clearly has more confidence in him over Jimmy and hence we see a more dynamic offende.

Offense was balling with a backup. Got to the superbowl with a backup. Says a lot more about the pieces and Shannys system than anything. Folk forget all the salivating over Jimmy and his numbers. How quickly folk forget.

Are we though because that poster specifically said anyone so that means backups are included in that equation.

Changing that to starters is completely moving the goalposts and pretending that a backup QB wasn't being hyped up last year as being able to run that same offense.

There’s nothing Tua has done this season in that any top 15-20 ish starter couldn’t. Benign better than backups is meaningless especially when they are gonna pay him 50 mill a year to lose to every good team they face :mjlol:

It should be noted that they third string qb scored 24 points on the road in Buffalo in a playoff game last year. That’s how loaded this offense is :mjlol:

The third string QB put up 24 points on the road in Buffalo in a playoff game. Basically any top 20 ish qb can do what Tua is doing. Throw the ball to wide open Tyreek and lose to good teams

Now you're moving goalposts again. Are we talking about starters or are we talking about anyone?

Anyone is a broad general term, which is exactly what that poster was referring to. You made it into referring to it being starters.

You def didn't watch that game, or you wouldn't be using that as an example. Buffalo turned the ball over 3 times which led to 3 dolphins scores and were a mess in general. :mjlol: Which takes me all the way back to my original point.

You can def tell the people who only listen to idiot talking heads like Stephen A, and have never actually sat down to the watch the team. Same folks say anyone could run the Dolphins offense when we literally saw the offense collapse without Tua last year :mjlol:

Way too many casuals give their opinions on this shyt when they don't actually know anything about it

Any one of the top 20-25 starters in football can do what Tua is doing. Throw the ball to wide open Tyreek and lose to good teams. Being better than backups doesn’t mean Tua is great

Again, good luck paying Tua 50 million a year to get owned by every good team he faces :mjlol:

Yeah this straight up isn't true and you keep changing the critieria. First it was top 15, then it was anyone, now it's top 25 :mjlol:
