NFL is a business, going international is good for their bottom line. There won't be a franchise overseas anytime soon, but the idea is to grow the international base of fans by saying stupid shyt like this. Goodell said something about hoping American football will become an international sport... shyt is a pipe dream but it sounds good and gets kids in far away places slightly interested in football. You never know what could come of planting small seeds like this.
