smh... Theres always been a camp of black folks who have felt wearing chains has always looked corny or c00nish.... Kirk's goofy ass wearing them probably reminds people of how goofy it can actually look :manny:

On the other hand, this shyt is no different than when Tom Cruise was dancing to Yung Joc on BET 106 & Park....

People need to lighten the fukk up

Black people love being a novelty for the white race.
That's a blanket statement. Yes there are individuals who do that, but you saying everyone which is :stop:
Its notarticulated well, its leaning into black stereotypes especially projected from the cac psyche
I've wrestled with this question over the years. On one hand your right, they do control what we are able to "promote" but they also control the truth, sometimes by hiding it. If we get all religous about things, the Devil wore bling to relect God's shine. And when others looked at the devil, its that reflection that he was after which is ultimately vanity. Equate that to the world we live in and when you reflect God's shine like ppl do others will seek that same light.. might take your life :yeshrug: so is it cac psyche or is it deeper than that? Well some ppl feel CACs are the devil so maybe we saying the same thing here but I'm not into blanket statements so lets not go THAT far. At least I'm not, feel free to do what you do. Just have a valid logical reason is all I'm sayin...
Definitely soft shoein' . Initially, I didn't even pay any attention to it as I for some weird reason thought those were Kirk Cousins' chains. Then I saw the same shyt with Heinicke. :what: shyt is about to become a trend :mjlol:

Ask yourself if you ever see the same situation in reverse. If the answer is no, then you know what time it is.

This is just begging for white acceptance. Its the same thing as inviting some random white dude to the cookout if he so much as aknowledges anything black.
Let me hit you with this conundrum... I feel what you're saying BUT... aren't you basically basing what is "acceptable" based on if white people are doing it first (or as well). If you have to ask yourself "if you ever see what ppl blah blah blah" then you are indirectly saying White people are the bar :francis:
That's deep huh... If you fully understand what I just said, Tyler Perry's Madea is made for Black People, older black people mostly but its fun for all ages I guess :hula: the point is how many black ppl here don't like TP because of how he makes US look to THEM.... you know, the bar.
I was firmly on the fukk that c00n side but I realized who his audience is & It's not the "bar". I feel his current stuff is likely poison but before BET he was BET.
Lol that would be a fair response if black people gave him that nickname but it’s cac announcers from barstool and fox sports
Yeah I never once heard those references until now, Maybe its a thing in Minnesota eh :yeshrug:
