No it wouldn't lol. They don't care if a black player plays every snap they still going to find a way to attack his character. Look at Manziel the fact that he getting interest from a couple teams says enough. Josh Gordon prolly wont ever get to play though...
I wrote from my perspective. I dont care about off the field stuff as long as a breh plays.

There definitely s a new a media double standard with Gronk and it's been addressed before.

So instead of being labeled "injury prone", he just works really hard. :pachaha:

So he works so hard that's why he's always injured huh?

So how come Jerry Rice didn't miss so much time?

So the key to staying healthy is to not work hard and play hard?

Anyway, some white people look at him and think "he's just a frat boy having fun. I wish I could he him." They love to see a white guy living "better" than them.

They hate to see a black guy living better than them though.

And that whole shyt about things being gravy with Gronk because he never gets in trouble with the law...TO has never been arrested either. He also worked hard as fluck and didn't miss nearly as much time as Gronk.

My favorite defense that I see of him is folks saying the only reason he gets hurt is because "cheap shot artists" constantly go at his knees. They do the same shyt to Travis Kelce...and Olsen....and Martellus......and Delanie.....and Barnidge......and Graham......and they seem fine through the majority of the season and none of their fans bytch about it like Gronk defenders do.

There is a double standard in sports. But I can't get behind this example with Gronk. It would be one thing if he was out committing crimes or showing up to games hammered, but no need for the media to come at someone for innocent partying. I'm trying to think of other NFL players that had been criticized for harmless partying and the only one I can think of in recent memory is Manziel. OBJ got criticized for partying a week before playoffs, but so did Romo. I don't think the partying angle is a good argument to make.

Never understood why media and fans want to know every detail of the private lives and off-field lives of professional athletes. If an pro athlete is accused and convicted of pedophilia or murder, then the media can and should expose that. But chilling on a boat, going to nightclubs and just enjoying life as a grown ass man? Man it aint our business at all. Media and fans should stick to analyzing sports ,dassit.

A random dude or Gronk goes to the strip club, no one cares but let Odell or Bron do the same thing and its the biggest tragedy since 9/11. Man I hate drama queen media.

If Josh Gordon doesn't get to play it's his own damn fault, dude can't quit getting suspended. Manziel never failed an NFL drug test, just couldn't contain his partying. Gordon may get a chance if reinstated, but if I'm a GM I don't know if I trust him enough to pay him. Same for Manziel
