It’s the Lamar Jackson & Mahomes effect. Teams seeing phenoms pull insane plays weekly & now coaching staffs have unrealistic goals to draft a QB and get a Superbowl or MVP. A lot of these teams going to regret letting there vet go for an inevitable bust QB.

Yeah Rivers is purely a back-up. I think the other 2004 QB Rothlisberger is in that territory now too.

One day a lot of you are going to realize a lot of the qbs that you think are bums are the result of coaching, and talent around them, i refuse to believe Haskins went from sugar to shyt, i believe it to be the front office, and coaching, i don’t think he got to the skins and was like you know what i made it, no need to keep working hard

Haskins ain't it. I'm in favor of still grooming him in our system, it's too early to say he'll 'never' get it, but he ain't the answer right now...
