I’m sure it would have leaked out if he took a physical on his own volition and gave teams access to the results. That would have helped save his market more than anything. The fact that he hasn’t speaks volumes as to whether he is actually healthy enough to pass one or not.

A part of it is longevity but I think a part of it is just perception. Teams throw away good RBs while they're still good because they don't want to pay them, and then they end up on mediocre teams and put up mediocre stats because of how bad those teams are and then people just assume they're done and draft another RB, even though they can probably still play at a level comparable to a RB coming out of college.

That's what's about to happen to LeVeon Bell.
