Can he even pass a physical at this point since he had the core muscle injury last year? He’d help his cause a lot if he actually took/had one done so he could show teams that he’s healthy.

I refuse to believe that he would be leaving millions on the table by waiting until late in free agency if he was actually healthy.

Clowney doesn't want an incentive laden contract from the Hawks, which Schneider surely proposed.
He wants a guaranteed contract while hiding from docs.

I’m surprised that no one in the media has called it out as it’s fairly obvious what he’s trying to do. He’s stalling to get as healthy as he can before he has to take that physical.

Lee is decent but he can’t stay healthy. I’m glad he is out of the division though since our secondary is garbage.

I’m starting to also believe Clowney just isn’t healthy that $17mil was a decent number from the Fins but I think what happened is he turned them down knowing the Fins would demand a physical, he fails it, then no team will offer him anything above $10mil for the season.
