NFL continues cheapness. Using experimental football next week. QBs don't like it.

FOotball seems to be reflecting any big corporation we see everyday. Dudes will try to skim every which way in order to save a buck for their bloated pockets.

This shyt is getting outta control.

It is amazing it really is.

They got mountains of cash, and the prospects for the future only look even more profitable, but yet they're doing all this dumb shyt.

I mean how much money you gonna save on these balls? Like someone said earlier, the Swoosh probably is in on this shyt.

I don't give two shyts about the ball, but the NFL's greed knows no bounds :snoop:

It bothered me when they did this shyt subtly (increasing offensive production through rule changes to increase ratings, protecting superstar QB's> other players) but now this shyt is just blatant penny pinching.

Don't even get started with the merchandise sales. Jerseys been going up $5 for the last 10 years. Now you gotta pay $100 to Nike for a jersey that doesn't even have sewn on numbers

To be honest, merchandise prices don't bother me. This is America, I have no problem with charging what the market will bear...if it really was too expensive, sales and profits would decline.

But don't fukk with the on-field product. smh

I agree with you about not fukking with the on-field product, that's the biggest transgression.

Just to me as a consumer, the prices of jerseys piss me off. I know I am not purchasing nearly as many as I used to, just because the price is

yall need to stop this over reacting shyt, they're not even forced to use them...

Both balls will be on hand and available for use in Week 2 preseason games, at the option of the offensive club. Footballs with synthetic laces are traditionally used in college and high school football while leather laces are used at the NFL level.

You don't put stuff like that out there unless its something you plan to use it down the road. :childplease:

The players are fighting against it pre-emptively.

There's something to it when pro bowl qbs are requesting the ball not be changed.

We've seen athletes across all sports dislike change on the ball type. It may be mental....who knows...but they know better than you or I do.

Yeah i know people dont like change. If they said they are creatures of habit and dont want anything new messing with their feel then ok, i can understand that. But when you say it cuts your hand and screws up your throwing motion, then i find out the same shyt has been used in high school and college then i have to question where were these complaints then. Am i to believe that cut fingers and a screwed up motion are things you just have to deal with at the high school and college level? I dont recall my fingers being cut when playing ball in high school.
