The only reason it exist is becuz they thought they could finesse these cable and sat companies to pay outrageously for the nfl network. They just need to have few late season sat gms imo. That have playoff implications.

Late season Saturday games are the GOAT :wow:

No Sunday blues, worrying about School or Work the next day :wow:

Watching a game and still having the potential to go out late a celebrate :wow:

NFL needs to bring it back

They got greedy and expanded TNF to the entire season. They should just have the triple header Thanksgiving games on Thursday and then Saturday night games beginning the week after college football conference championship weekend.

I love college football, but NFL wouldn't lose the ratings war :mjlol:

Plus the games were only played after the conference championship games and before the big bowls
That's the thing tho, if the NFL is that confident why rely on on the bolded:patrice:

CFB is free marketing for the Draft and players entering the league, they would never put games on Saturday

I think they're actually may be rules against that. They both still have a loose association, they wouldn't want to step on each other's toes. Same reason there's no college/NFL game being played on Friday nights burying Highschool football
