Your basketball analysis is much better, and that's saying something hahahahaha..
Saying Steve McNair is the best QB of the last 20 years is no hot take. Especially when you take into account CIRCUMSTANCES.
Everyone considers Jeff Fisher the worst coach ever nowadays. But in the early 2000s he was considered one of the best. That was because of Steve McNair.
McNair overcame one of the worst coaches in NFL history to make it to a Super Bowl, win a regular season MVP, as well as making the playoffs almost every season. He also did this with only one quality receiver his entire career (Derrick Mason). As well as fighting tons of injuries that would have ended many a career.
If Steve McNair had a great offensive mastermind like Sean Payton as his head coach or played with tons of elite receivers he would have broken so many records. His PHYSICAL talents were unmatched. The guy had an arm as strong as Mahomes but was built and could run like Cam Newton. Physically he was as good as you could want for a QB.
If there was an draft available where every QB who played in the 2000s and 2010s was available, Steve McNair would be the easy 1st overall pick. He was the most talented than Brady, Manning, Rodgers, or anyone else you wanna name.
