Just got done watching Seeking a Friend for the End of the World and Ruby Sparks. Seeking a Friend was OK aside from the shytty half-cop-out-but-not-really-a-cop-out ending.
Ruby Sparks was fukking fantastic all around tho.
It had the perfect combination of elements from movies like Stranger than Fiction, Eternal Sunshine, and (500) Days of Summer, all movies I adore, without feeling derivative of any of them. Movie of the year for me.

something ain't right...that many records being shipped to South Africa? and nobody at the label noticed? i think there is an individual or just a couple of people who caked off those album sales...how do you keep something like that on the low in the music biz though? the story is just fukking weird.

Only ones on the list I haven't seen. Hadn't even heard of 8 and 10.
I recommend seeing that joint in a theater...the visuals were amazing.
I think, in the end, I like 'Celeste & Jesse Forever' better then anything I've seen so far, may not be the best, and the fact that it was a surprise, prob. has something to do with it. Definitely recommended, to fans of romantic comedies, or romance dramas in general, Rashida Jones is so cute, plus funny and smart in this.
