Honestly, this is fly and I would buy it in a heartbeat. But there's no way Sony is putting this out anytime before 2100 AD.
What this is implying, if not outright showing, is that the ring of light is a holographic projector.
The spheres, now replacing dual sticks, rotate forward and backward and slide left to right.
And I'm not even sure what the dials are supposed to do. They look alien.
