No, just EA and definately not any Playstation 4 Exclusives.

You can bet on Microsoft requiring it for ALL games on the system though.

we will find out in the coming months.

I won't raise a big stink about though. I just won't support them with what matters the most. My money.

I know people with a PS3 and no internet ... There's is no way they can have a widely successful system if a live connection must be maintained.

There's times in my house when i unplug my system and change rooms.

It's easy to say that. But it looks like most if not all games will have some type of online requirment. We'd have to stop gaming altogether.

I want to stand against this travesty as much as the next man, but when these new games come out with their shiny next gen graphics its gonna be real hard not to buy them.

True but that decision has more to do with my age then anything. If the next generation of gamers are fine with it then that is where the medium has to go to survive. But I am use to buying a product and using it and if that is not staying the same then the way i like to play is gone and there is no need for hang around.

Even though I got the internet and its always on I'm still not feeling this.

I usually have to go outta town for work 3 times a year take my PS3 with and them hotel connections are so shyt I normally play one player games offline. If they say I can't even do that I don't know how I will feel about that shyt. But I'm reserving my opinions until they come out with more details. but if this is true its no bueno for both consoles

yeah Watch Dogs looks hot. Ubisoft is one of my Favorite publishers for Assiassins creed alone but I got to draw the line somewhere for myself.

But I had alot of good times with game. :cheers:

And i still have emulators. :eat:

Sony has online passes, but that a league of difference from having to be always online. No spin for the win for you.

PS4 Will Not Require An Always-Online Connection [UPDATE]
At a roundtable this morning, Sony's game studios chief, Shuhei Yoshida, told reporters that any requirement for users to register a game online in order to play it would be left to game publishers. Sony won't require that.
basically Sony has the the method in place to block used games and require an internet connection and the publishers can use it. the system itself won't require internet but the games ran on it may be a different story.
