Cause this thread is just as useful
As noted several months ago here on the website, Jim Neidhart had a hearing on April 12th and was sent to jail, where he has remained since then. Neidhart will soon be heading to the Salvation Army in Tampa, FL for a substance abuse in-house rehab program.
:( how far these dudes fall :(

As you can imagine, there is major heat on Rey Mysterio right now for his latest Wellness Policy violation. People are in disbelief that Mysterio is getting paid big money to sit at home while recovering from his latest injury - yet he reportedly came up positive for a narcotic drug.

Some people think that Kevin Nash's recent tweet about a friend being released from WWE was referencing Rey Mysterio, but at this time, there has been no official announcement about him being released. He is currently serving a 60 day suspension and will be cleared to return to the ring at the end of May.
i dislike rey and his character has just been :flabbynsick: but hopefully he wasn't just doing this shyt

Brock Lesnar was informed several weeks ago that John Cena would be defeating him in their match at Sunday's Extreme Rules pay-per-view.
:scheme:
- Abraham Washington says former WWE Tag Team Champions Epico and Primo might be ready to sign with him after dropping the gold on RAW to Kofi Kingston and R-Truth. AW tweeted on Tuesday:

"After speaking with Primo and Epico last night the former #WWE tag team champions might be ready to sign on the dotted line... Even though Primo and Epico lost the battle, by signing with me they most certainly will win the RAW is WAR!!!!!"

Yoshi Tatsu has deleted his Twitter rant where he said Lord Tensai's ring name, which means "Lord Natural Disaster," was offensive to Japanese people in the wake of last year's devistating earthquake and tsunami that killed thousands of people.

Original Rant

Despite getting crushed by Lord Tensai several weeks ago, Yoshi Tatsu continues to rant about Tensai, stating that Tensai's name is in bad taste and vowing to defeat Lord Tensai. Here's what Tatusu wrote:

“As of today, I am planning to post several tweets regarding my thoughts and feelings toward Lord Tensai. First of all, I have a strong reason why I must defeat Lord Tensai. As in my Japanese lesson, “tensai” means natural disaster.”

“As everyone knows, Japan experienced a major earthquake and tsunami on March 11th of last year. More than 15,000 people lost their lives, over 5,000 people are still missing, and more than 5,000 people were injured. In addition, over 130,000 people lost their homes. Sadly, the recovery has been very slow. Many people are still living in temporary housing, without jobs. Moreover, the Japanese people haven’t been able to recover from the grief of losing family members, including children who lost their parents.”

“Out of respect, I strongly urge Lord Tensai to change his name. As Japanese superstar of WWE, I cannot tolerate him using this name during Japanese appearance. Even though he is tremendously big and very strong, I will defeat him someday. Japan was defeated by natural disasters – “TENSAI”. And I, Yoshi Tatsu is the one who defeats that “TENSAI”. When I beat him, I will make him change his name. This is #YoshiRevolution Episode 1.”

WE Intercontinental champion Cody Rhodes recently spoke with the Toledo Free Press and spoke about a number of topics, including what it was like growing up the son of Dusty Rhodes, starting off his career as a referee and what he's learned from John Cena. Here are some highlights of what Cody said about:

Growing Up The Son of Dusty Rhodes:

"For me, I didn't really pick up on the fact that he was, like, Dusty Rhodes, until about the time that I was in middle school. For me, he was always just dad. He was retired, not really as heavily involved. We got outside of the suburbs a little bit, and through other friends of mine's parents I figured out how much that he'd done in the wrestling industry. I'd been to a lot of shows where he was a prominent figure, but I didn't know how much he had done, especially in the late '80s.

Being a Wrestling Fan As A Kid:

"I was a fan, but I don't think I knew how much of a fan I was."

His Decision to Become a Wrestler When he was a Teen:

"It was hard for my mother to take, because I never explored the options of doing anything else. It was just like it was set in stone. I think that's what made it worse for even her — she couldn't even say anything to change my mind."

Starting out as a Referee in Turnbuckle Championship Wrestling:

"For me, it was just as exciting as being the one wrestling. The referee has a lot of control that I don't think a lot of people realize in the ring. And I got the same rush performing as I did as a referee, especially as a teen."

Getting Experience At Ohio Valley Wrestling:

"I also got a very firm grasp on how big of a fan I was. I was told when I was going to Louisville that you're gonna eat, sleep and breathe wrestling. And I thought I'd have some outside interests. And from the time I entered, I never had any outside interests. When we weren't at [training], we were at somebody's apartment, watching WWE 24/7. And when we weren't there, we were eating, and I was learning about diet and training — that was something I never had any access to. My dad was not a body guy. And in this day and age, when a company has evolved to where a lot of the specimens you see on TV are carved from stone, that was all new to me."

Learning from John Cena:

"I spent a year driving Cena around when I was on the Raw brand. The goal was to learn a lot about him, what he does in the ring, how he has gotten where he has gotten, but also to learn a lot about merchandising and marketing, pretty much all the things he does. And I'd say I learned a great deal on what it takes outside of the ring. He's noted as being one of the most hard-working people in entertainment, and he is. If you want his job, you have to work as hard as he does. And it is much easier said than done."
How the IWC takes these L's is ridiculous

Yoshi should've shown up at the end of Raw and given Super Cena a ride on his back out of there

- To update the status of Evan Bourne's arm injury, he had the 'PICC' line (peripherally inserted central catheter) removed this week and is still wearing a cast. Bourne tweeted back on April 19th that he has "no idea" when he'll be cleared to return to the ring, but hopes it will be by "#endofsummer."
#GetWellEvan is trending worldwide
Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel's new tag team is due for a push when Justin Gabriel returns from injury later this month.

Tyson Kidd mentioned on Twitter this week that his new submission finisher is called The Dungeon Lock, paying homage to his training at the Hart Family Dungeon.
:childplease:
The WWE website has a new storyline-driven article up that says the Board of Directors may take action against Brock Lesnar for his attack on Triple H this past Monday. However - the 'contract demands' made by Lesnar on the 4/23 episode of RAW and agreed to by John Laurinaitis protect Lesnar from liability.

"Adding one further wrinkle is the revised contract that Laurinaitis agreed to during the April 23 edition of Raw. Among the new terms approved by the GM was a clause that waived any future fines or disciplinary actions against Lesnar.

Triple H has already dismissed those additional contract perks as null and void, but could Lesnar’s camp pursue legal action in the event that the Board of Directors or Triple H comes down on Lesnar?"

The article also mentions that the Board of Directors is considering taking action against Jon Laurinaitis for his role in the whole situation.
we'll see how this goes
- Edge’s WWE contract expired on April 30th and he has not signed a new deal with the company. When he made a surprise appearance on RAW several weeks ago and gave John Cena a pep talk, he was there to meet with WWE officials, but nothing came of it.
Michael Cole's heel announcer gimmick was supposed to officially end at WrestleMania 28. His new role is to be an "edgy" character who still respects John Laurinaitis, one of WWE's top heels. A recent sign of Cole retreating from being an annoying heel and shifting to a more neutral role was that he was sympathetic towards John Cena during his feud with Brock Lesnar.

-- Sin Cara will be returning to action on WWE's upcoming tour of Mexico. An announcement was made on on the April 30th episode of RAW that aired in Mexico. During a recent media interview promoting his return, Sin Cara said he expects things to go a lot better for him this time around.

Sin Cara specifically mentioned that he's used to working the "right side" of the body (as they do in Mexico, but not in WWE) - and he's now much more comfortable working the WWE style.

This is what I've been saying.

Mistico/Sin Cara is a good wrestler, his years in CMLL are proof of that, but he obviously had trouble adapting to working like an American wrestler.
