It’s bc it’s not “fixed”. That’s an easy way to discredit what’s actually going on which is players have betting interests and can become compromised

That does not = “it’s rigged”. When you just say rigged it sounds like thr goofballs who took that whole ‘the script” joke and act like it’s real
Don't care what you say. You'll never convince me sports aren't fixed.

So far, it seems like players on bad teams are the ones bold enough to try this.

What's been up with him since joining the Heat tho? Has he played much or has he been injured a lot there too?

I've seen college players get caught up in this, but it doesn't seem to get the same level of scrutiny. I know Tyler Ulis little brother got caught betting and he was suspended a year but now he's back playing I believe.

There will be dozens of college players implicated, and double digit schools for shaving points/throwing games

So did Rozier himself tip them off or did someone in the Hornets org, like a ball boy or something, let them know about the plan with Rozier's minutes?
this is right before he shut it down for the season i think.

gotta imagine there's people like this in every lockerroom though fr

Any max-level player doing this would have to be either clinically retarded or is being blackmailed by a criminal operation. Doesn't make sense even for someone at Rozier's level or even minimum guys but the money is too crazy at the top for this to be entertained.

Bruno Mars is making $90M per year but allegedly had a $50M gambling debt. Lil Baby lost $8 million gambling in two days. I could see a scenario where these dumb high earning players get trapped in gambling debt with shady people and told they can get out of it by helping with parlays.
