One of my uncles worked as a tobacco ad executive that did work for RJ Reynolds. His major project was Kool cigarettes. His campaign hinged on the fact that many blacks were illiterate, so outdoor advertisement like billboards and bus stop ads with no words was ideal to sell to a black market. He made a pretty penny selling poison to his own people. He didn't even smoke...

The hood...........the actual hood used to fukk with (looseys) loose cigarettes, and usually Kools. It was illegal, but store owners used to sell them individually to people who couldn't afford a pack.

ALL sugary drinks will destroy you.. Probably more so than cigarettes..

Yea Kools were the go to smoke probably in the 70s and early 80s. Older relatives told me they used to put them in black Soldiers C-Rations, the white boys would get Marlboro Reds and shyt like that.
My dads entire side of the family are smokers and they been strictly on Newport 100s since I was born. Most folk that still smoke Kools are old asf
