That's why Black New Yorkers need to move downsouth...word to Charles Blow.

NYC will become more and more like the DMV, where the Black working class moves further and further away and have shytty long commutes

People spend 4 hours a day traveling to and from work, living in bumblefukk, nowhere for ONE source of income :why:

Why downsouth?

The second tier northern metro's (Philly, Chicago, and Baltimore) don't provide enough of a discount from a cost of living standpoint to justify moving there, whereas southern cities provide a bigger discount on that end.

I went to undergrad with these types and them being academic underachievers was a prevalent feature.

Many of their parents were baby boomers with "good jobs" who were excited to be homeowners but didn't have enough money to:

A) Buy a house in a neighborhood with a really good public schools. OR

B) Pay for their kids to attend good private schools.

And so, they often sent their kids to below average public schools where the behavioral issues weren't as problematic as schools in the hood, but the academics of these type of schools were only slightly better than hood schools.

This is why having knowledge of self and your history in this society is important.

White people have historically been following black people all over this country back and forth as we scrape out opportunity from of oppression and they try to reap the benefits. So if you think black people are just going to move simultaneously to one location and live within a black utopian enclave. I've got other news for you.

This is why running away from white people is simply not an option. A line needs to be drawn and enforced. And there's no better time or place than right now, where you are at.

Anywhere north of Peekskill, NY is a NO GO. That is where you See them rednecks and broke displaced 5 borough heads at. They have no real economy up there, and those winter snowstorms are pure misery.

How are they defining millionaires, cause if you own property in most of Manhattan, Brooklyn and parts queens. You're now a millionaire from RE appreciation even if you're a city worker, mechanic or nurse.

Just in time for congestion pricing.
And the MTA board just approved that bullsh*t

Congestion pricing would impose a $15 fee on vehicles entering Manhattan below 60th Street. Additionally, trucks could pay $24-$36, depending on size, motorcycles would pay $7.50, taxis would pay $1.25 and rideshare vehicles would pay $2.50.

Additionally, it was revealed Wednesday that in the environmental assessment conducted by the MTA and its partners, the MTA reserves the right to increase the congestion pricing toll 25% on gridlock alert days, possibly up to $18.75.

The MTA also reserves the right to raise or lower the tolls by up to 10% within congestion pricing's first 12 months.
Pricing out the middle class.
