There is a Hulu series on the NYT endorsement process. Don’t know why it’s 25 episodes :heh: but I’m about to check out the episode where they announce their endorsements.

Where they differ most significantly is not the what but the how, in whether they believe the country’s institutions and norms are up to the challenge of the moment.
i think that’s a critical question and one that I do think provides some validity to endorsing two people, but I just don’t see how Amy becomes the standard bearer for the moderates and not Joe if that’s part of their rationale

also, is there a write up anywhere of why they were going to choose booker before he suspended his campaign?

lastly, if trump wins, seems like a lot of people are having a “in hindsight, he was a decent candidate” moment about booker, wonder if it makes him viable for 2024?

lol if the dems lose this election, the democratic party probably splits into factions(not official parties)

Dope let's get someone new to represent the party at election time. Biden and bernie half dead asses :camby:

How?
what is the value of a dual endorsement? to me this makes it blatantly obvious this endorsement has more to do with the candidates gender than policy.

and why even bother with klobuchar she has zero chance. they shouldve just endorsed warren (who is also the better candidate between them anyway)

Warren has no chance to win. She has a higher chance than Klobuchar.

Democrats have too much at stake to risk satisfying a bunch of Twitter agendas regarding the election.

the ether
It really is. Their explanations and logic weren't very convincing.

I think this non endorsement might be the best thing to happen to Biden Yang and Bernie
I don't think it affects Biden either way, and Yang is beyond help.

Actually hurts Buttigieg because this is his lane and his people and they're abandoning him for the other centrists. :lolbron:

Combined with the idiotic move of having their most unpopular standard-bearer go after Bernie, this is beautiful.
