I remember hearing it started at Summer Jam 97. Wu Tang were upset they weren't the closing act. Wu Tang Forever has just dropped and they had to perform before Bad Boy. So they went on stage and dissed Bad Boy and Hot 97. Wu was banned from Hot 97 for like the next year.

And I also remember Mase on Ricki Lake walking around with a cane in1997

cause mase was talking shyt about the wu at a show...mase has talked about this before in interviews...hell, he's even said he's proud of it cause cats dont do it like that no more if you talk shyt about people lol.....anyway, check out the interview he did with sway talking this, his back/forth with jay, etc.....

I heard he said some shyt about Wu on stage and lit a Wu Tang T-shirt on fire...no idea why he would do that but I heard this back in the day.

He did something to upset Ghost though because he got his jaw broke and his chain took.

Just reading the account ... it seemed a little overblown ... not saying homie got mashed out but I don't think he went in like that on all three of them for dolo.
