Crazy that those falls have been a popular suicide location for over a hundred years but you wouldn't know it given the image and reputation as a tourist destination. Most deaths don't get publicized

I read a book about the falls in highschool by force because it was one of the last selected reads left on a list. About a family that ran a funeral home there in the early parts of the 1900's. They dealt with lots of suicide victims. It was the most depressing read.
