after three weeks gonna look like this:
Heavily_tagged_subway_car_in_NY.jpg

I highly doubt it. And if it does get tagged up, they remove the train from customer service.

If they don't have robots in the subways to beat the fukk out them annoying ass "SHOWTIME" nikkas and homeless people begging then I don't care.

yoo let the showtime kids cook man. they're good kids tryin to hustle and make some honest bread, there are a lot worse things those kids could be doing. id rather have to pause my music for a stop or two and watch them dance, than think about them being hemmed up in rikers for 6 months because they got caught tryin to sell a $20 bag of sour

I'm bummed about no A/C in the stations... they have it at 42nd Grand Central on the Lex so it is possible to refit old stations with A/C.... 63rd on the F recently got A/C as well.

In regards to the new cars, I like that they bought back putting the destination sign on the front of the cars toward the top in the middle.

its crazy how like half of queens doesn't even have a train line ...its like they just finished the subway system project 75% done and gave up :dead:

That's pretty much what happened. The last of the three original subway systems that makes up the modern NYC subway was supposed to have an expansion that would've made it much larger

Proposed expansion of the New York City Subway - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The parts of Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx that aren't served by the subway? All of them would've had subway service had the plans from the 1920's and 30's actually happened

But the Great Depression and World War 2 happened and those plans got buried.

Hell, the subway system today is actually a lot smaller than what was around in 1940.

they def need major upgrades on all lines. no reason why they cant just do what needs to be done. instead theyll wait 15 years and then make a plan thatll take 15 years to complete.

believe me, mta is on some bullshyt. just a buncha paper pushers. the shyt we had to go thru to do 2nd ave was ridiculous. meetings everyday to talk same shyt. changing minds every 5 min.

"is that OK, no its not, it might be, lets go over the data, the data checks out but im still concerned" etc etc. just a big circle jerk noone up there knew what the fukk was going on.

The Bay Area metro wasn't even the first in America, let alone anywhere else.

those digital ads better not have fukkin audio capability and i really pray they dont let companies/corporations sponsor stops. having entire stops be a massive fukkin ad. city of ads, cops and cameras...great

2020 is only 4 years away. 2050 is more realistic with how the mta moves. :russ:

gangway cars are gonna be sick though, theres a possibility they'll have gangway cars for the 2nd ave line

instead of giving people wifi and digital ads, they should use some of this money to extend lines or build new ones so the massive amount of people cut off from the subway in a lot of areas of queens and the bronx can get service. its fukkin ridiculous. we dont need wifi,,,we need more trains and less overcrowding. in the last 10 years the trains have gotten so crowded its insane. the system cant handle the amount of people. plus you got neighborhoods completely cut off from mta. look at rochdale village...about 8000 people live there and im sure half of them commute to the city..no train there. mta should figure out how to handle the current problems before they add some fancy maps, ads and usb ports and pretend like its all good
Politics sir. Expansion to other areas means you're taking business away or mixing "unwanted" populations.
