This is completely believable in NYC..just look at the job listings..they low key tell u right in the listings..."must speak russian"..."must speak Hebrew"..."must speak Italian" etc etc..be a black man and speak one of those languages and go for a job and see what happens..lol
Subjectively: This is absurd, and an outrage. The national media needs to pick up this story.
Objectively: It was one persons word against anothers....seems kind of sketch. Might not want to jump out the window just yet.
IMO job interviews should be filmed and archived. A lot of companies do that already, just to help them compare candidates more easily, but it could serve the purpose of documenting hiring practices as well.

in FLorida if you wanted to get a job you had to speak spanish
also about job hirings, I feel like they should tell you why you didn'tget the job so that person can improve in those area, just to give a legit reason for not hiring
