thought about you earlier. i've been cleaning out my father in laws house (hes a hoarder) and i got a ton of nice staedtler pencils. compasses, protractors, old school graphic pens and pencils from the 1970s. fountain pens, etc. even found a straight razor! cool shyt!

turns out my girls mom (she died when she was in middle school) was a big calligraphy nerd so ive been trying this stuff out. good handwriting is a rarity these days, so i really appreciate people who put in the effort

That's a gold mine. I wanna find an artist's left over paint and media that passed on and continue to use it up. Such a great way to keep they memory alive and not waste art supplies.

Calligraphy is sexy as fukk especially if you combine painting with it
