It’s gotten to the point where he needs to ask for his release. They clearly don’t see any value in him and have no plans to push him, so why stick around to wrestle matches that aren’t worth anything?

Not to mention

Stephanie wanted to make Balor an openly gay character

That's not how it works.

It's not like there's a switch they can flip and all of a sudden, the show is good and will bring in viewers as soon as they land on Fox. They need to take a long look at how the show is put together from a writing standpoint and some egos - some very big ones - are gonna have to take responsibility for their role in getting the ratings to a record low.

As for the No Watch thing. If you're still watching Smackdown - you're still supporting the company. :yeshrug:

Obviously things take time to pay dividends. But in terms of changing the show itself, yeah they pretty much could have flipped a switch and delivered new matches, and an authentic new direction.

shyt, SmackDown threw Mustafa Ali in the mix, and used Almas, Sanity and The Club for the first time in a few. And ya know what? Decent start. Almost like flipping a switch.

And I'm not gonna cut off my nose to spite my face to be a part of the No Watch Gang lol. I'll playfully be a part of the the No Raw subfaction. Pretty much everything but Raw is regularly decent to really good.

And they've sucked up almost every wrestler I've loved that isnt in New Japan in the last 15 years lol. NXT is dope. 205 is regularly good. NXT UK is good, and SmackDown stumbles but is regularly entertaining.

So i'll get in where I fit in lol. #norawgang

Finn got royally fukked ever since his injury.

Man was a first ballet draft pick to RAW...Pushed to fukking MARS by defeating Roman CLEAN and then winning the new Universal title all within a month of being in the main roster..He comes back and Vince literally hasn’t done anything of note with him since. He literally been floating between mid card bottom of the card feuds for damn near 2 years now.

It's really crazy to think about where he was two years ago and compare it to where he is now. I don't know if he would have been able to sustain the rocket push past 2016 because Vince tends to change his mind on people all the time, but that injury killed his career on the main roster before it could start.

It's not even like he came back and he lost a step, or they tried to restart his push and he got injured again. They just lost faith in him in 2017, and I'm really struggling to think of anything substantial he's done since he came back. There's the Styles match at TLC, which only happened because of circumstance. Take that away, and he's been ice cold for what's going on two years now.

If they don't see him as a top guy anymore, then whatever. He could be killing it in the mid card as the Intercontinental Champion and maybe people backstage will start seeing that he should be mixing it up in the main event. But they just gave up on him the first chance they got. :mjcry:

So I just noticed the stipulation of the Royal Rumble winners can choose which champion they want to face rather than having to just fight the champion of their brand :jbhmm: I assuming they did this so they can set up Ronda vs Becky without any issues... and to set up if a Raw star wins so they can face the Smackdown champion since Brock is never around.

I assume that's for Becky or Ronda yeah but I'm still thinking they might go with the triple threat anyway, I find it hard to believe Charlotte won't be in the title match

They know they can have Charlotte enter and win the Sensational Invitational or whatever the pre-show battle royal is called :francis:but I know how Vince operates
