Man...all factors play into the success of a club...facts. You just see a financier...but everyone involved plays a part in whether things go ok or not. Guess I'm askin folks to go deeper...but please believe a lot of owners of teams know about the good karma bad karma rules. They do exist:yeshrug:

Oh I get the process of how stadiums and arenas are payed for ...but if cinci can foot the bill for new NFL and MLB stadiums through sales tax revenue in the same year...I KNOW OAK AND SAN. FRAN can do it...guess it depends on the type of arena wanted(ya'll fancy). Still, if I were the owner I would seek a diff. sponsor ...like a retail giant ala the target center.
The owner doesn't care who is the sponsor as long as they get a fancy stadium.

That's my concern. That the crowd will change and we end up with an arena that is so "high-brow" that it ends up like a Laker's game with people too concerned with everything else that they won't cheer...

I used to grow up going to Lakers games at the forum and the crowd was crazy and fans beating up Celtics and suns fans

shyt move to staples and its like:russell: and people walking around taking selfies all around the arena

San Francisco will be nothing but tech driven with .com all over the arena and probably a bunch of tech related gadgets

I don't even think san Francisco has any real natives left anyway

Can't blame them, city officials are pieces of shyt..I think Raiders/Warriors only teams in the country that literally play in the hood & next to a swap meet :wow:

They care more about the Tech companies that are already invading downtown Oakland...

The stadium will be paid with private money. Seems like the GS owner wants out of Oakland.

Da fukk yall nikka talking about. Just cause the arena is in Oakland doesn't mean Oakland nikka are going to the games. I've been going to games every year since I was a youngin. People come from all over to watch them play, from the east bay, peninsula to the south Bay and the valley. Ain't shyt changing. The same people there now buying the expensive ass tickets will be there in the new arena. Yall outsiders who ain't from the bay need to stfu, u don't know what tour talking about. My folks in the bay, the next time your at a game...look around, ask where people are from. It's dumb ass $$$ already in Oracle. My boys company splits box seats with another tech company and I network with them cats all the time. Yes, it will be more expensive for a ticket. But it's the bay, muthafukkas don't care, it's already cheese to live here and we pay a premium on location. Trust me, they'll pay that premium to go watch the ONLY nba team play in the bay
