This most recent episode with Sarah Silverman and company was probably the most nuanced one of the bunch. I still don't like Pete, but I also don't hate the show. Yet, somehow I find myself rooting for him to succeed, but I also want him to fail. I must be enjoying this in some capacity.

Just getting into it. On episode 7 of season 1. I enjoy it. Don't know why everybody hates pete......I think he's supposed to be the straight guy to everybody else. I don't even really look at this as a pure comedy. It's more drama than comedy to me. It's cool to see the grind that comedians go through.

been watching episodes of season two sporadically. just finished this last night.

not a fan of the show and very few episodes are great but they do generally have some really nice sweet moments in it.
the episode were he and his new girl did a little tour of the comedy circuit around the city was great. really enjoyed that one.

they always make the city look good too which is a plus.

I watch all the scripted stand up shows. I'm Dying Up Here (rip), Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Crashing. As usual, these tell things from a white perspective, but stand up/live performance is such a brutal business and it reminds me of when I used to do it many moons ago.
