The biggest issue with this franchise is that they don't build on each other. The 3rd game left out some shyt from the 2nd. If they combine all the mechanics and have some slightly upbeat story moments with a few more characters they can do well

Idk bro, I really got a thing for graphics and Uncharted nor TLOU 2 was up there with RDR on console. When I started the most recent TR, I felt like those graphics were close to RDR.They’re not eve in the same league, but im sure you’ll change your mind once it comes to PC in a few months.
Even when you just compare YouTube vids, TR side by side can hold its own with any last gen game imo.

I just remember there being two. Which was the one that started with Lara and the chubby Samoan hiking in the snow??
Funny enough, I owned/played the crap outta Tomb Raider II, III, and Last Revelations on ps1 back in the day but i never bothered to try out this new trilogy, even tho i recall hearing a lot of good reviews about the first one.
And yea, to what someone asked earlier, games like this i'd play as much for the plot as the gameplay and i'd lose interest if either is or seems trash. Horizon, GoW, TLoU, FF7:R, etc., were all fire in both aspects. The og Mass Effect trilogy* is another great example.

basically she goes nuts and is in a mental ward because she thinks the spirit is still inside her
but then it turns it it really was and Lara gets rid of it again
but then sam is just tired of it and blames Lara for everything and tells her to never speak to her again
ROTR on PC looked fukking crazy at times to be honest so if he's playing on PC with that fidelity compared to UC4 on a base PS4 even, it will look better.They’re not eve in the same league, but im sure you’ll change your mind once it comes to PC in a few months.

fukk everybody in the first game that was in Lara's crew. She was going through literal hell on her own to survive and to save them and they treated her like shyt the whole time
. they believed fukking whitman the sheisty cac over Lara who had literally saved them from a fiery death in a cage
Tried getting into shadow of the tomb raider during the winter (Sony) slump and I just wasn’t feeling it.

First one is solid. 2 is just aite. 3 is..... well its a mess, but it looks good.
Not bad for a reboot trilogy all things consideredthe commentary around all the games made shyt hard to discuss objectively anyways. I didn't even realize there'd been a whole Uncharted v Tomb Raider debate until I looked online for example.

yeah plus they probably saw a lot of sales in the trilogy collection that made the lack of sales in the last not matter that much
they can just make a whole new trilogy and make bank
also a tomb raider 2 is happening apparently so they might coincide this game with that
