The Acolyte is one of the most intriguing Star Wars projects for me, especially if it will incorporate a martial arts element and now looks to focus on the Sith

This is why they should've been did a film on Darth Revan and then a Darth Bane trilogy because he's the reason for the rule of 2

while he was training in the ways of the Sith. He formulates a plan, bodies all of them and utilizes a dope ass Sith ritual to trap souls in a vortex of torture forever

From studying his he decides in order for the Sith to properly live on and be efficient only 2 can thrive at anytime. Master and apprentice and if an apprentice was unworthy or weak kill em and find another

star wars is finished, they need to let this shyt die and reboot in like 5-10 years

all Disney had to do was reboot the franchise, recast Luke skywalker, han solo, and princess leia, follow the original trilogy better effects better action scenes, add in a couple things here and there, and that's it

Are they going be able to replace Darth Vader, or any of the iconic characters or story arc
Star Wars is Skywalker vs vader, the empire vs the republic, that's what it is
All that old republic shyt is trash, they still haven't topped the design of the original ships and these were models made in the goddamn 70s
They still haven't came out with a narrative matching father vs son dynamic
an army of sith vs jedi is dumb, the prequels should you how uncompelling having loads of jedi on screen can be
The Original was good, because it only gave you a taste of jedi, it made being a jedi special, when a lightsaber came out it was a treat, it was built up moment
once again, they should've rebooted the original trilogy with a new cast kept the same story
and then continued the story with episode 7 with the same cast, hayden christian could be a force ghost etc, luke could be taking on new students who can develop over the course of the trilogy, while the over arching plot will be on a grander scale dealing with new republic dealing with a new threat, not the sith or the empire
or they could have just followed the gotdamn EU books instead of making them non cannon.

The High Republic comic drops tomorrow. I think I'll hit up the local shop and see what's up
Just read the main book they released for this. It was just okay. If that book was a movie it wouldn't be that good IMO.
The biggest takeaway of the book for me (and I'm not gonna spoiler it because it isn't a spoiler and the book talks about in 30 pages in):
Yoda is in this era and he's described as basically a god level Jedi. So he will probably be all over this series.
