Loosely related note, but I wish more black people would just buy some Nike stock. Ownership doesn’t have to be 100% for it to have an effect. We spend so much on them, so we might as well recoup costs through appreciation/dividends.

Imagine 40million share holders at various levels (for example, more affluent blacks can hold more stock) invested into one company. Beyond the pride aspect, I think we’d have a good shot at a board seat. I believe the FTC threshold was only 5% for that kind of thing.
