To me it's no different than a statue of Jesus (peace be upon him) or Buddha. No disrespect to Christians or Christianity or Buddha but idol worshippers of any religion shouldn't be effected. The bronze structure lacks emotional and physical integrity. Who cares

when they started converting native pagan europeans to christianity they used the image of pan, a carnal relatively harmless but lusty goat like god as a rep of satan. or the whole pan image was revived in the victorian era and I'm guessing was ushered into the neopagan/wiccan resurgence in the early 1900s
