That's been the story of SD since the OG brand split. The only negative with SD now is Corey Graves becoming a permanent commentator for the show.

Raw since the late 90's has always been about the big titantron, while Smackdown always had something unique about it (Oval stage and later the Fist). I hope they return to that format.
