Most games can't run 4k 120fps.. They have to turn all the settings down to achieve this.Why do people make a big deal about 1440p when we already have 2160p?. Help me understand?

It's not that they couldn't get 1440p is that the ps5 signal couldn't output 1440p. Meaning if you had a 1440p monitor you couldn't play any games. Yet could on a 1080p TV or 4k set.At what, 720p?
more or less with some exceptions…I was able to find a 1440 monitor that worked with my PS5 at the time…I explained it a minute ago but I forgot how it was able to work despite the PS5 not having 1440 support at the time
…and to answer @Methodical’s earlier question—in my case I was using a 1440 monitor attached to my racing rig…4k monitors were way overpriced for their size…also I started off using an xbox series s with the rig so a 1440 monitor was perfect…with the screen being only 27", everything looked great even when using the PS5 on it
