Game freak needs to get pressed over always doing the bare minimum.

they might get pushed if they try to be slick for the next title. I'm certain they expected it to do more than Sun and Moon by now. but being on a home/handheld hybrid console the standard has changed. they got the 16mill off the bat for it being the first true switch pokemon game, and also salvaged anything else with the DLC. but man, that next game better be heat.

The other day I came across some art and just thought of what pokemon could truly be as a game if a little more effort NOT A WHOLE LOT just little bit more was put into it.

it really needs the BOTW or Xenoblade CX treatment.

I'm hoping Gamefreak does what they did when ruby and sapphire were poorly received and slowly fix it by releasing remakes(fire red, leaf green) to fix the missing pokemon problem and then an updated version(emerald) to give the gen a second chance

Game freak just doesn’t have the range. Only way I can see this being done is if bandai Namco or monolith soft step in.

Pokémon within itself has so much potential and by the time they get their act together I’ll probably be too old and washed to care.
