So we trade a veteran point guard for some Euro forward who is not proven. I'm assuming they are looking to make Austin Rivers a point guard. If not this trade was lame. Jack was one of the few positive last year until he got hurt.

they have plenty of cap room left and have a strong base with rivers gordon and davis the guy they got from orlando is going to do good in this system i can easily see them winning 40+ games and missing the playoffs

Yeah, I going miss Jack. I though with Ryan Anderson on board, we can challenge for the 7th or 8th seed. Felt like Jack could tutor Rivers for the beginning of season. I guess we preparing for another lottery.

I love Ryan Anderson, deadly from three. If Unibrow developing a good inside game. Ryan would be automatic.

They actually gonna try and keep him after he said his heart was in Phoenix? I say let him go. He doesn't want to be here. Maybe a sign and trade and we can get one of their draft picks.

Not much. We needed a backup point guard. And if Steph does go down he's insurance so our season won't be over. It's the same reason we have 3 centers on the roster in case Bogut goes down. Plus he could play at the 2 spot in case we can't re-sign Rush. How's his defense?

He's not a lockdown defender but he isn't Steve Nash either. He should be ok defensively. I really hate to see him leave. But I guess N.O trying to clear house and start over with their draft picks. Don't know why they are so hesitant to get rid of Gordon ass though

Can't blame your owner for tryna save money. EG is gonna be expensive. Can't let him just walk because he was the main piece in the CP3 trade. Plus it's hard to get guys of his talent to sign there. We have the same problem.
