Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
not NY but Jersey...actually dropped a while back but i found out about them looking for another NY up and comers tape.
only person i've seen mention them was the young guy thats doing a great job at Pitchfork now.

i been randomly listening to this every other day. its a likeable ode to the early 00's.

the obvious Dipset/G-Unit/Ruf Ryders influence.
wouldn't be surprised if the producer was involved in making those Dipset Trance Party type beats years ago.

the crew can do up to date joints too.

I like it.

I'm sorry man, but I just can't take N.Y. rappers seriously. Especially when they're rapping over trap shyt and using outdated flows. I really wish NY nikkas would work more on trying to modernize that old school East Coast style. Thanks to JAH for PRO ERA, Benny, Conway, Westside, Q, DE, etc., because that 'Big East' shyt is corny.
I agree with your whole assessment about this new era of rappers from New York. It's a known fact that these new mainstream guys aren't returning to that traditional east coast sound. With the south's domination of Hip Hop since the millennium, the game is now oversaturated with clones.

That's the only way to get the ball rolling so different styles can possibly come into play down the line

Ny rap gets so much hate, that no matter how we rap, it's a problem somewhere...

It's either we sound like the south or we old fashioned...

Bronx pretty much carrying NYC on its back right now tho...:wow:

Y’all need to make up y’all mind.

When those rappers get shine for being true to modernizing old east coast hip
Hop y’all call them trash and played out.

Then when NY keeps up with the time y’all say “stop rapping on them trap beats”.

Which one is it?
