This has been going on since at least the early 90s; doctors have been growing ears, noses, etc. in labs to help burn victims, cancer patients, people that have lost body parts because of infections, etc.

A woman grew an ear on her forearm because she lost hers to cancer.

Somewhere more discreet lol I wonder if they grew it there because your forehead is pretty much always exposed...other body parts are generally covered...for breathing purposes? No idea. I don't know if it's a functioning nose or just cosmetically looks like a nose...
