The NFL saw how much bread the NBA got and want in on it too.

I guess my question would be and the article mentioned it too is would TV networks still put an offer in or would it still remain streaming?

Well I posted earlier in this thread that CBS and/or FOX might not be able to afford their current packages in the next media rights negotiation. I would one or both either bowing out or wanting MNF instead so less games to produce. I think Disney would the favorite to get an available Sunday afternoon package, but Netflix and Amazon getting it wouldn’t be a shock either.

FOX losing the NFL would be pretty bad for their network.

It would be, which is why this whole Murdoch real life Sucession fukkery is interesting. Either Lachlan takes control or Murdoch family will be forced to sell. I think CBS with their new ownership will try to keep it. FOX is the wild card.

Yeah. No network can afford to have this happen. It’s one of the last great hopes to have people watch tv. I think everything going to streaming is crazy but we can’t do anything about it.
