But then if it's voluntary why bother with the cuffs when he could just break out them and fly off out of there?
“It is a remarkable dichotomy. In many ways, Clark is the most human of us all. Then… he shoots fire from the skies, and it is difficult not to think of him as a god. And how fortunate we all are that it does not occur to him.”– Batman

superman is a good guy and believes in the law, thats why the let him in the cuffs.

Like Hancock when he went to prison to prove he was a good guy and not a loose cannon.

:pacspit: At Clark Kent and his patronising attitude towards humans he should fukk off back to Krypton and take his villains with him if he thinks so little of us. Ungrateful motherfukker :pacspit:.

You must've been watching Kill Bill lately huh?

I love that speech too breh.

Now, a staple of the superhero mythology is, there’s the superhero and there’s the alter ego. Batman is actually Bruce Wayne, Spider-Man is actually Peter Parker. When that character wakes up in the morning, he’s Peter Parker. He has to put on a costume to become Spider-Man.

And it is in that characteristic Superman stands alone.Superman didn’t become Superman. Superman was born Superman. When Superman wakes up in the morning, he’s Superman. His alter ego is Clark Kent. His outfit with the big red “S” – that’s the blanket he was wrapped in as a baby when the Kents found him. Those are his clothes. What Kent wears – the glasses, the business suit – that’s the costume. That’s the costume Superman wears to blend in with us.Clark Kent is how Superman views us.

And what are the characteristics of Clark Kent? He’s weak… He’s unsure of himself… He’s a coward.Clark Kent is Superman’s critique on the whole human race.

That image is straight out of the comic...I think it was Lois Lane's pop (Gen. Lane) who had Superman taken into military custody for some reason and Superman went along with it to show them that they had nothing to fear from him.
