Any Cody stans reading this need to commit that seppuku and stop dishonoring your family. Your man still has 0 matches worth watching twice, let alone once

:gucci:you know he wrestled for NJPW right?

:francis: He wrestled for NWA, too. What's your point.

The podcast convo he had with Meltz about the 6 star rating showed he was HIGHLY impressed with the product, had never even seen an Okada match, had no idea who he was.

Now, there he is.

He was probably doing a podcast or getting more connects. He mentioned he was getting some talent on future podcasts. He name dropped Scurll, who he was trying to get when Marty was in town for PWG. I expect Omega, too. Hopefully the YBs as well. :banderas:

Forgot to mention some random cats in my area doing their best Japanese woman calls. :mjlol:

"Naitooo!"

"ken-nee!"

:dead:

Oh, and the spacing for the seats were way too close. These dudes know we're not in Japan. :comeon:

I was sitting next to a small, skinny guy, but on the other side was a guy similar to my size.

From SCU:

The only major problem was the merchandise line. It looked to be extremely long and disorganized. A lot of people were complaining about how slow the line was moving and right about the time the show was starting there looked to be about 500 people in line still. This lead to a lot of empty seats all over at the start of the show. At intermission I talked to some people who were in line and they had been there since before the show started. I asked why they didn’t just get out of line, but there was the worry about sizes selling out. One person I spoke with later missed all but the last two matches waiting in line for merchandise. I think New Japan greatly underestimated the demand for merchandise and simply didn’t have enough people working the booth. Then again, the biggest size t-shirt they said they brought was XXL so I think they didn’t do enough market research in that area at all.

Got damn! :damn:

And those XXL sizes are in Japanese, which are XL American. Imagine a fat breh, waiting in line for 3 hours, finding that out when he got to the table. :mjcry: :wow: :damn:

True but the people actually like Okada :manny:
Yup, still there's a small portion of the IWC hating on Okada ("clothesline finisher?? No real gimmick!!11!11 no karizmah!!11!1)

Here's a dude getting a gigantic push, knocking it out the park with GOAT matches and great feuds constantly, surpassing all expectations, and some doofus contradictarians jizz all over themselves for the fukk of it

Seen the opener and the main event, very good showing, gotta catch up with the rest later on

Man, Omega has to GO OVER HARD in the Cody feud, like back-to-back clean wins

I don't know why so many people complain about Cody. I said it before after Dominion, he needs to start having matches against aces like Okada, Omega, Naito and Tanahashi because dude still has to adjust to the Japanese style and you can only learn from working with the best. Giving him this match against Okada and a feud with Omega is not a push, it's training.

My point is that it shouldn't be a surprise he'd be at NJ near him when he worked for them and has guests on his show that work there regularly. I really doubt he decided to go to a NJ show because he was a fan of one specific match.
