That was the best match of the NJ Cup thus far and for NJPW 2nd or maybe best MOTY. They were so crisp and got into exchanges and transitions so fluid. I like that they started off hot and kept a great pace throughout the match.
I was worried that because of the arm injury the day before Ospreay might be vulnerable but since becoming a legit heavyweight he is powerful as fukk. I look forward to Ospreay-SANADA, it could be in the running for best match of the NJ Cup as well.

I really couldn't get into tonight's matches at all. The main event practically peaked for me when Thotahashi looked genuinely hurt by Jay mocking him and just being in all around better physical shape.

I believe Ospreay should win too but I assume you think SANADA puts ppl to sleep? I don't think that's the case, his 1st rd match with Ishii was a top 4 or 5 match in the tourney so far. His series of matches with Okada in 2019 were highly impressive and the crowd is always behind him. Even in those Okada matches.
