We just don't have great young acting now as we did in the 80s and 90s.
I noticed that. Like outside the UK brehs and maybe one or two dudes, we don't have a lot of potential talent. The game is messed up nowadays that we hold onto Denzel's old ass coattails because there's no other good black actors outside of the usual suspects.
Right! I don't know what happened. You think about how polished Lorenzo Tate and Chris Tuck was in Dead Presidents. Even Kane in Menace, they were young new actors and they killed it. Even Cube and Cuba. Unknowns from the 80s and 90s excelled.
I think because our culture is so phony know. It's like people see a persona and attempt to be that, but it's not real. It's just a big costume party out here.
Yep its all cosplay acting. Dudes like Tate and em were in their own bag and tried not to go beyond expectations with the exception of Tucker due to Rush Hour. Nowadays, these "actors" are just treating the shyt like the ad lady in the AT&T commercials. Its all get in where you fit in, rather than trying your best to make a impact nowadays.

Only way I can see this working is if Nino ended up having a kid with Uniqua, and the kid grew up to try to take his father’s footsteps. Then during his ascent, find outs that Scotty was part of his dad’s downfall and tries to kill him.
