Stark is directing JARVIS and his mechs (YOU and Dummy) in repairing his legion of badly wrecked armors. JARVIS informs Stark about a coded message emitting from space (Stark mentions right from the start that he has set JARVIS to notify him of any cosmic activity). The message turns out to be an SOS from Star-Lord, in his trademark mask. Stark then tells JARVIS to put together the Space Armor using the metal the Wakandan envoy sent over. The scene ends with Stark flying into space, saying "This time... I'm ready."

Uhh... Explain to the non-comic book head what this means
Basically Tony is going to meet up with the Guardians of the Galaxy, which is an intergalactic superhero team. They have their own movie coming out August 2014 so this ending will tie into that. One of their main foes is Thanos, who they showed at the end of Avengers. Im guessing at the end of their movie Tony will show up and they will tell him Thanos is on his way to Earth or some shyt and that will lead into Avengers 2. Its all one big connected universe. The new Thor movie this year might touch on Thanos too. Marvel is feeding us well.

While at the same time alluding to Black Panther who's from Wakanda.Highly technological civilization, but they're on some bohemian shyt.
If you remember, at the end of Avengers, Tony couldn't do his thing up in the cosmos.He fell unconscious and Hulk had to save his ass...thus, "this time, I'm ready".Iron Man is about to graduate to space travel.It's a good thing.They gotta make these dudes seem more advanced in order to face Thanos and have it not be seen as a joke

Would like to see that, but didnt they say Black Panther wasnt even in consideration for any Phase 3 movies? If the Wakandan rumor is true though I'm thinking he will show up at some point even if its not his own movie.

I would love a teaser though. Have T'challa in there for a split second on some King shyt and I'm happy. And if it is true and they do use Vibranium and mention Wakanda, they damn near HAVE to give some kind of nod to at least the existence of T'challa.

If these Marvel exec. fakkits can make a fully functioning multi-cultured rainbow coalitioned Asgard with a fully functioning interstellar transporting machine, they sure as fukk can make a small African country with slightly advanced than normal tech and a warrior King that's not a fukking lackey (I'm looking at you, War Machine). Can we at least have one, Marvel? And no, Fury doesn't count.
