New "How I Met Your Mother" Spinoff In the Works From "This is Us" Producers

how did it end anyways? i stopped watching after like 4 seasons. shyt got tedious.

Most of the last season takes place over the weekend of Barney and Robin's wedding. In the last episode, we flash forward and learn that Barney and Robin get divorced three years later, then Barney goes back to his womanizing ways, then has a daughter a few years later. Robin is distraught over her failed marriage and goes back to travelling. She sees Ted and Barney at a party and is upset because Barney's hitting on random THOTs right in front of her, while Ted might have been the guy she should have ended up with. Ted meets the mother, they get together, and have two kids, but put off getting married. She ends up dying of cancer, and Ted finishes telling the story to his kids. His kids tell him that the whole story is about how he's still in love with Robin and how the mother is barely in it, but they give him their blessing to ask Robin out on a date. He shows up outside of her apartment with the blue french horn he stole on their first date back in the pilot. Robin sees him outside her window and smiles. The end.

Marshall and Lily also had another kid or some shyt.

How I Met Your Mother was such a failure. You just know that everybody behind the show were sure that they had the next Friends and that the characters and lines from the show would be etched into pop culture for ever but now that it's over it's not mentioned at all.

i predict in 10 years or so, people who were kids in the mid 2000s will rediscover this show and make a hipster revival of it

HIMYM from season 1 through 3 is an excellent sitcom.. it started falling off after that and by Season 6 became unwatchable.

I'll catch reruns of it if the episodes are from the first five seasons, but to this day I still havent watched the last 3 seasons

Actually Seasons 1-4 of HIMYM were good. It fell off in Season 5, but I thought Season 6 was a nice bounce back season before falling off again the rest of the series.

Season 4 is pretty good, but not on the level of those first 3. Season 6 i just couldnt get into. I hated the Zoey and the Captain storyline

I don’t think it’ll be good as the OG, but I’ll watch since the episodes are so short
