Me and my man had just got together, so my early 20's, and block friends kept asking when I was gon get pregnant. I remember it was like 2-3 girls I grew up with, all asking kinda insistent, tbh.
I hit em with the gucci, on some real life " I'm not having no babies out of wedlock." They like, "Why??" (Cuz they knew I had good sense but truly didn't know nobody married.) I'm like, "Because, then, you don't have to chase them for child support. Either yall together or the state handles it." I added, "My parents are still officially married and my daddy got some good ass insurance, yall know I had asthma. "

They like " Yooooooo! That's smart." They really didn't know.


At least two have gone on to marry. The third is in a ltr with a GREAT guy. ❤

A lot of them don’t give a damn. They’re doing it for selfish reasons along with the inability to make difficult life decisions (abortion) not based on emotions.

The lack of foresight is disturbing. Especially since 90% of the time the men they are having babies with ALREADY had a child/children out of wedlock

I know several women that had a kid with a deadbeat KNOWING he’s a deadbeat then want sympathy cause he’s not active with the kid.
