Hope the brotha and his show are successful (it will be) but I can't relate so I probably wont watch. I would definitely watch an Insecure spin off from the POV of one of the male characters though.

Considering that bisexual Black men are responsible for the HIV rate in our community, I'm smh at the premise of the show. Issa sold her soul for that HBO deal. Wench.

Literally making a show about one of the direct causes of the destruction of the black community. :snoop:

Funny how it's almost all white dudes praising the show this Travon Free dude is retweeting. :jbhmm:

fakkit ass black men and self hating bedwenches are the only blacks whites feel comfortable around. Quiet as it's kept, whites don't even like the Uncle Ruckus blacks, because many of those old c00ns are formerly pro black militants who got tired of waiting for black people to wake up and fight these devils. :francis:

if it goes over the shyt we deal with.. bad and good.. im with it..

and Issa show is fire tho :dame:

The show is about a bisexual black man. So basically the show is about a gay black man. I never see white women writing shows about gay white men yet black women always have to write scripts about gay, abusive, etc black men.

I was :gladbron: and then I read the description :scusthov:

When I first heard HBO was developing Black male dating I was hoping for something for a series similar to "that guy" . That Travon dude that's writing and executive producing is bisexual himself:dame: and writer and co-executive producer for the other show Issa is developing is a writer for Scandal. So you already know what they going pushing to the forefront.

You really don't get it.

The reason why you deflect, is cause you support the very entity that decides how your people are depicted to the white masses....all because they throw you bones every now and then.

You truly want white acceptance, not black representation...And you'll take it any where you can get it:yes:
Nah fam YOU want me to want white acceptance because I’m simply open minded. I want black faces on tv by any means necessary. Period. I’m in love with the project based off the the pure black essence. That is all. It’s being about bi-sexual black men :manny: welp, of course that don’t bother me as a straight black woman. I’m not gonna frown upon a show that’s about black bi-men dating in 2017 as if it doesn’t exsist. I would watch it if it were on BET, Revolt, Telemundo, Logo, Bounce, WE TV, Oxygen,Starz, Showtime, whatever network. This is black excellence, period. Issa is helping other people get on likeshe didn’t with her online series. I’m supporting black projects.

I’m ending this bullshyt here at we agreeing to disagree.
