I hope they're not turning it into a gimmick game like on the Wii :lupe:

I got a PSP now and I play the newest game to come out on it, runs a bit slower than the ps2 games but that's to be expected

The game will feature many familiar boxers from Morikawa's manga, and the game will recreate some of the manga's most famous scenes with full voicing. As players progress through the game, they will be able to unlock scenes that weren't in the original manga.

The game's central story will revolve around Ippo Makunouchi (played by Kohei Kiyasu) and Ichirō Miyata (played by Tomokazu Seki).

The game will ship in Japan on December 11 for the price of 7,600 yen (about US$76), and first copies of the game will come bundled with a product code to download four new costumes: a down-hair version for Takamura, an electric battery hair version for Kimura, a Block Man version for Aoki, and finally, a long-haired version for Date.

I have the iso to the PSP game. One day, when Sony officially stops supporting the Vita, I'm going to see what is going on with emu at the time to mod my vita. Outside of that. I still have my launch day PS3 with the PS2 hardware in it. That console is offline as it is wired directly to my computer so that I can play PS2 isos like the Japanese version of Victorious Boxers on my computer through my PS3 with Open PS2 Loader. It runs at 60fps like the original and everything is :wow: :blessed: I haven't played it in a while. I think my character is at cruiserweight, I'm not bout that heavyweight life so I'm not going up in weight. What kind of diets you rocking in the PSP version?

Not that one, the other one. Though I need to get my hands on that one as well, just the lack of English scared me away

It's navigational. There is a great english tutorial on gamefaqs for it as well. Speaking for the PS2 version I play. Plus, a lot of it is English as it stands.
