You know maybe it had to do with me being extremely blazed watching this flick, but I couldn't help think of kaiju being robeast in a sense. Arent they? There is a voltron element here, minus the lions and shyt. I mean the sword scene was reminiscent...That being said a voltron movie needs to happen.
