Is this director any good?

its only his second movie
his first movie was 'monster'
which kind of had to do with giant monsters, but not really

Anyway, if people are going nuts over a 30 second trailer done for the movie, I can only imagine how its going to be.

Movies like The Dark Knight, with the dark serious tone, helped pave the way for this movie man.

Godzilla been parodied to sh*t by his own people, its time someone finally did the Big G justice

Godzilla Remake Officially Announced At Comic Con - CinemaBlend.com

Here's how it went down, according to our own Eric Eisenberg who was on the scene. It started with footage of a destroyed city, and voiceover talking about the Hindu proverb about Vishnu taking on his multi-armed form (you know, this guy). The voiceover specifically quotes Vishnu saying "'Now I have become death, the destroyer of worlds." From there we hear the iconic Godzilla scream, and it leads to a shot of Godzilla stomping through a cloud of dust. You see the spiked back, you hear the familiar thudding storms, and then the camera pans up the monster's face-- where, of course, it screams again.
one of the guys who made the atom bomb said this after hiroshima :sadcam:
